T-Shirt “Fahnenmeer”
In May 2019, the clear underdog Eintracht Frankfurt was close to eternity in the semi-final of the UEFA Europa League. FC Chelsea, worth Billions, was almost beaten in their home ground at Stamford Bridge. Unfortunately, they failed in a dramatic way in a penalty shootout. Chelsea’s goal keeper, whose name Arrizabalaga can hardly be pronounced, but who was more expensive than the entire team of Eintracht (transfer fee 80M EUR), saved the last 2 penalties.
Luckily, we got tickets for the VIP area of the London club. Otherwise, we would have missed one of the best atmospheres ever created by the away mob!
